Down

with the

Stigma!

Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It’s a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.

Humans are incredible. I was inspired to start doing interviews when I realized I had been obsessing over what it is that gives people the strength to do what they do from extraordinary acts of kindness to overcoming exceptional challenges: Our Everyday Heroes.

I hope these wonderful people encourage and inspire you as much as they do me.

The goal of these interviews is to make the stigma surrounding mental health go down in history, and to spread compassion through education.
